Kellon Smith Earns NABC Second Team All-District Honors

Kansas City, Mo. - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has announced the Division III All-District teams for the 2025-26 season, and junior Kellon Smith of the Denison men's basketball team has earned District 7 second team honors. Smith earns the nod after leading the Big Red to an NCAC Regular Season Championship and NCAC Tournament Championship appearance.

The first team All-NCAC recipient had an impressive junior campaign, leading the Big Red in points per game with 13.8 while also grabbing 4.4 rebounds per game and dishing off a total of 30 assists. He led the conference in free throw percentage at 85.9%, and set a new NCAC Tournament record for most free throws in a game, draining 19-19 against Wittenberg. Of his 27 games played, he scored double figures in 18 of them, and set a career-high of 33 in his game against Kenyon (1/31).

The Big Red finished the season 18-9 and 12-4 in conference play, and were crowned NCAC Regular Season Champions for the second-straight season.
