GAMBIER, Ohio-- The women's swimming & diving regular season ended on Saturday at the Kenyon Last Chance Invitational.
Denison first-year Zoe Whelan lowered her 'B' cut in the 200 fly by winning the time trial with a time of 2:03.82. In the same event, Eva Jorn also posted a personal best time of 2:09.29.
In the 100 free time trial, Angela Le came close to a season-best time after her second place finish and time of 52.94.
In the 100 butterfly, seven-time NCAC champion KT Kustritz won the event with a time of 57.88. Her previous best time in the event was 58.78 set on Jan. 28.
Another season-best performance was turned in by Natalie Zaravella in the 200 IM with a time of 2:08.22. Carolyn Kane checked in second in the event in 2:10.28.
Senior Alex Elizeus won the 200 freestyle in 1:54.79 and Jacquelyn Kurkjian was the runner-up in the 200 back in 2:05.22.
In the 500 free, Caroline Colville logged her best time of the 2016-17 campaign by hitting the wall in 5:07.82.
Denison's next event is the 2017 NCAA Division III Championships on March 15-18 in Shenandoah, Texas.
