Top-ranked Denison falls to Ohio State

The top-ranked team in Division III squared off against the 23rd ranked team in Division I on Friday night and Ohio State handed the Big Red men's swimming & diving team a 186-103 loss at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.

Jake Ball finished third in the 100 breaststroke in 58.55 and was fourth in the 200 breaststroke in 2:07.26.

Bebe Wang won the 200 IM with a time of 1:53.41 and was fourth in the 200 back in 1:51.46.

Stuart Hohm touched fourth in the 200 freestyle in 1:41.94 and Aaron Saccurato touched third in 1:54.99.  Hohm also placed first in the 500 freestyle following a time of 4:36.16 and Kenny Fox was a winner in the 100 fly in 50.75.

In the 1,000 freestyle, Matt Hedman took third in 9:44.16.  He was followed by Ben Burdick in 9:47.41.

The meet was closed out by a victory in the 400 free relay as Max Howes, Fox, Hohm and Walter Dauksher combined for a winning time of 3:05.11.

Brian Allen finished fifth on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards while Max Levy took seventh In both events.
