Indianapolis, Ind. (March 21, 2026)- For the seventh time in program history, the Denison men's swimming and diving team are NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Champions! This is their third back-to-back victory, previously achieved in 2010-2012 and 2017-2019. The Big Red finished with 437 points, ahead of NYU (388.50), UChicago (353), and Kenyon (299). Denison swept the individual CSCAA awards: Gregg Parini was awarded Co-Coach of the Year alongside Bate's head coach Peter Casares, first-year diving coach Kai Robinson won Men's Diving Coach of the Year, and Jack Hill and Nick Fogle received CSCAA Swimmer and Diver of the Year honors.   Â

Denison's route to the title wasn't a simple one, having to make up major points due to DQs and fast heats. Fortunately for the Big Red, across the four days, Nick Fogle, George Goins, and Jack Hill each earned two individual NCAA titles to bolster the team total. Denison totaled 28 All-Americans, which included seven titles and three NCAA records.
What Happened in Prelims
Records continued to be broken by junior Jack Hill this 2026 Championship week, this time in the 100 Free prelims. Hill swam a 42.87 in the 100 Free for his third NCAA record of the week. The Big Red would tally a second A-Finalist when Nick Hensel finished just behind conference rival Kenyon for third place (43.47).
In the morning session of the 1650 free timed finals, Ben Campbell swam an impressive 15.33.90, swimming down the first-place winner after moving from fifth to second in the final 750 yards. In the final event of the prelims for the men, Denison's Hill, Cam Blevins-Mohr, Harry Parsons, and Hensel finished the 400 Free Relay with the top time of 2:54.61.
Additional Final Qualifiers
Knowing that a championship was on the line, the Big Red didn't take its foot off the pedal. In the first event of the evening session, sophomore George Goins had a spectacular 1650 Free, finishing in 15:04.33 for his second national title of the week, all while securing crucial first-place points for the Big Red. Joining Goins as an A-Final finisher was Campbell, whose 15:33.90 morning timed session put him in seventh place.
Soon after Goins' title win, teammate Hill earned his second NCAA title in the 100 Free with a time of 42.67, which broke his own record from the morning to take hold of the first-place finish. Denison continued to rack up points at every chance they could. In the 200 Back B-Final, Luke Swiggett earned the consultation final title after swimming a 1:46.35. His teammate Devin Testin swam the 200 Back in 1:47.17 for 12th place.
In the 200 Breast, Liam Nelson finished his B-Final with a time of 1:59.19 for 10th place. Denison, with a small cushion of just over 30 points, showed out in the 400 Free Relay. Knowing the assignment, they were adamant about coming off the block without being DQd, leading Hill, Blevins-Mohr, Harry Pasons, and Nick Hensel to swim a fast, yet thoughtful 2:54.76 for second place, ultimately securing the NCAA title.
This national championship team had two senior divers, Nick Fogle and Brendan Stanley. Between the two of them, there are three national championship appearances, with both making their mark on the biggest stage two consecutive years. They are three-time NCAC Champions and now back-to-back NCAA Swimming and Diving champions.
