The Big Red men's swimmers posted seven improved 'B' cut times on Saturday at the Kenyon Fast Chance Invitational in Gambier, Ohio.
Kevin Brinegar started the day with a season-best time of 1:51.43 in the 200 fly. He would return in a later heat and improved his qualifying time to 1:50.92.
Ryan Fleming finished second in the 200 free and posted a provisional qualifying time of 1:40.92.
In the 100 breaststroke, Brendan Howley went from a 56.40 to 56.18 and Alec Carlson jumped from a 1:50.72 to 1:50.04 in the 200 backstroke.
The 200 breast saw Jake von der Lippe get his name in the mix with a 'B' cut time of 2:06.10. His previous best was 2:06.23.
Finally, in the 1650 freestyle, Ben Burdick and Robert Lawley placed 1-2, respectively. Burdick dropped his time from a 15:55.68 to 15:54.14 while Lawely went from 16:11.07 to 16:09.34.
