In the annual dual meet between Denison and Kenyon, the Lords would come away with a 196-104 win over the Big Red from the Kenyon Athletic Center.
Denison was led by victories from Jack Lindell in the 200 backstroke and wins from Brian Allen on the 3-meter board and Max Levy in the 1-meter dive.
Lindell posted a winning time of 1:53.15 in the 200 back to come away with Denison's lone victory in the swimming portion of the competition. Lindell's previous season-best time of 1:54.64 was set last week against Xavier.
Allen edged out Levy on the 3-meter board with a 6-dive score of 323.25. Levy was second with a score of 314.85 but he would win the 1-meter after posting a score of 316.95. Ben Lewis followed in second place in 314.18.
Five second-place finishes were turned in by Denison, led by Lindell's 'B' cut time in the 400 IM. That was a season-best performance by Lindell in the event, and the fourth-fastest time posted this season in the event.
In the 50 freestyle, Ryan Fleming was the runner-up in 21.38 seconds. Jason Wesseling was second in the 100 backstroke in 52.13. He was also a part of the second-place 200 medley relay along with Brendan Howley, Andrew Rich and Fleming. The foursome touched in 1:34.37. Fleming also swam on the 200 freestyle relay with Conrad Wuorinen, Max Howes and Kenny Fox. They ended up second in 1:24.71.
The Big Red will return to the pool on Dec. 3 when they take part in the three-day Miami Invitational in Oxford, Ohio.
