The Big Red scored the first 11 goals of the game and held Thiel scoreless until the final minutes of the first half, resulting in an 18-4 win for Denison over the Tomcats.

Eight different DU players scored at least one goal and three players notched hat trick's en route to the win.  The Denison offense was led by Lisa Feroli's three goals and three assists on just six shot attempts.  Alex Thurner followed with five points (3 goals, 2 assists) on only four shot attempts while Olivia Shiland was Denison's other 3-goal scorer as her points came on four shot attempts.  Shiland also added two caused turnovers and two ground balls.

Checking in with five points was Molly Sbrega thanks to a two goal, three assist day.  First-year Molly Chapman scored two goals with three ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Denison won 16 of 25 draws taken and Carly Tschantz led Denison with five.  Hannah Minifie started in goal and posted two saves in 45 minutes of action. 

Thiel was led in scoring by Casmeir Mahdi's three goals and five draws.  Asia Wallace racked up 14 saves in the cage for the Tomcats.

DU improves to 5-3 with the win while Thiel falls to 0-5.  Denison's next game will be Wednesday (March 28) at Washington & Jefferson.
