Big Red wins Kenyon Invite

The Denison women's swimmers and divers ran away with the team title at the Kenyon Invitational, and most importantly, they continued to log national cuts in the process.

First-year Molly Willingham led the way with a pair of NCAA provisional qualifying times.  The first came in the 200 free with her time of 1:52.03.  Teammate Tully Bradford followed in second place with a 'B' cut time of 1:53.60.

Williangham's second cut came in the 100 free where her time of 51.94 was just short of her previous season best.  Marit Wangstad followed in second with a 'B' time of 52.04.

In the 3-meter dive, Katie Collins tallied an 11-dive score of 422.85 to win.  Victoria Masney, who logged an 'A' cut in the 100 fly on Friday, posted a 'B' cut in the 100 backstroke time trial on Saturday in 57.84.

In the 100 backstroke final, Sarah Yu won in 57.26 and Lindsay Zeberlein took second in 57.85.  Zeberlein would follow with a victory in the 200 backstroke.

Densison will return to action on Thursday (Feb. 16) for the 2012 North Coast Athletic Conference Championship in Canton, Ohio.
