Ohio State handed the Denison Big Red women's swimmers and divers a 178.5-110.5 loss at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavillion in Columbus, Ohio.
Denison was led by Alyssa Swanson who notched a victory in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:03.02.
Runner-up finishes were also posted by Claire Van Fossen in the 100 fly, Elizabeth Dalziel in the 200 backstroke, Morgan Nuess in the 50 free, Swanson in the 200 free, and Mary Cullen in the 1,000 free.
After the meet was decided, Michelle Howell was awarded a victory in the 200 IM and the 400 free relay team of Molly Willingham, Ashley Yearwood, Mary Van Leuven, and Swanson placed first.
In diving, Kelly Frazier won the 3-meter and finished third in the 1-meter board.
The Big Red return to action on Saturday morning when they host Kenyon College at 10 a.m. from the Trumbull Aquatics Center. The Denison Sports Network will provide a live video broadcast of the meet available here.
