In the first of two dual meets over an 18 hour time frame, Denison's men suffered a 193-98 loss to Ohio State from the McCorkle Aquatic Center in Columbus.

Denison got a second-place finish from Carlos Maciel in the 100 freestyle (47.76) and a third-place swim from Al Weik in the 500 freestyle (443.95).  Weik also took third in the 1000 freestyle.

Late in the meet, Andrew Rich (100 fly), Jackson Humphrey (200 IM) and the 400 free relay team of Sean Chabot, Spencer Fronk, Maciel, and Quinn Bartlett were awarded first-place finishes.

In diving, Gabe Dixson was second in the 1-meter and Connor Dignan placed third in the 3-meter.

Denison will return to action on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. when they host North Coast Athletic Conference rival, Kenyon.
