The Big Red men's swimming & diving team closed out its dual meet schedule with a 178-114 victory over Carnegie Mellon from Pittsburgh, Pa.
Denison totaled 11 wins on the day and sophomore Sean Chabot led the way with a pair of victories in the 200 back and the 200 free. In the 200 back he posted a time of 1:53.85 and in the 200 free he touched in 1:41.99.
First-year's Brandon Bryan, Dan Hellman and Damon Rosenburg were all winners in the 200 breaststroke, the 200 fly and the 100 breast, respectively. Mike Barczak locked up the 100 freestyle in 46.34 and Robert Barry took the 100 backstroke in 49.75.
Al Weik took the 1000 freestyle with a time of 9:40.51 and Ben Snader and Spencer Fronk teamed with Barczak and Barry to win the 200 medley relay.
In the 3-meter dive Gabe Dixson tallied a score of 326.48 and Connor Dignan was the victor in the 1-meter dive with a score of 318.82.
Denison closes its dual meet schedule with a record of 7-3. They return to action on Feb. 10-11 at the Kenyon Invitational in Gambier, Ohio.
