The Denison University baseball team saw their four-game winning snapped by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Friday afternoon in Claremont, Calif.  The Stags topped the Big Red 14-1.

Claremont pitcher David Ulrich held Denison to just two hits in seven innings of work.  DU broke up the shutout bid in the top of the seventh when senior Peter Krieger drove in David Baskin.  Krieger and freshman Jeremy Tirado were responsible for the Big Red's two hits.

Senior Dale McOsker suffered the loss after surrendering five runs (three earned) on five hits in two innings of work.

Denison (5-6) returns to action on Saturday with a pair of games.   DU opens the day at Occidental at 10:30 a.m. PDT.  Following that contest, they will hop on a bus and travel to Whitter to take on the Poets at 6:30 p.m. PDT.
