First-year's Amanda Castle and Stacey Adams fired identical opening rounds of 86 to lead Denison at the Pat Clouse Invitational that is hosted by Wittenberg University.
Denison posted an opening round total of 365 which lands them in 13th place out 18 teams heading into Sunday's final 18-hole round.
Castle and Adams are tied for 37th in the field of 95 golfers. Following in a tie for 52nd place was Carly Schultz who carded a career-low, 91 on Saturday. Denison's final two scores were shot by Parker Shea who ended with a 102 and Elizabeth Tristano who shot a 104.
Washington University (Mo.) leads the tournament with a 304. DePauw's Kelly Gaughan fired the best round of the day, a one-over-par, 72.
Denison will return to action on Sunday at Windy Knoll Golf Club.
