The Denison women's swimming and diving team logged their sixth dual victory of the season following a 127-83 win over Malone College on Friday night from Gregory Pool in Granville.
Junior Emily Schroeder (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) paced the Big Red with an NCAA provisional time of 2:06.48 in the 200 backstroke. Senior Ksenia Golovkina (Newton, Mass./Newton South) won the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.39, while juniors Hilary Callen (Oswego, N.Y./Oswego) and Emily Hopcian (Novi, Mich./Northville) took first in the 200 free (1:55.49) and 200 fly (2:16.47), respectively.
The sophomore duo of Cari Martin (Beavercreek, Ohio/Beavercreek) and Meg Perron (Centennial, Colo./Arapahoe) also logged a pair of wins. Martin won the 100 back with a time of 1:00.13, while Perron touched in at 1:10.32 in the 100 breast. Rounding out the DU individual winners were sophomore Victoria Masney (West Vancouver, British Columbia/Mulgrave) and rookie Dallas Manson (Torrington, Conn./Torrington). Masney posted a time of 53.97 in the 100 free, while Manson compiled a 234.08 in the 1-meter dive.
The foursome of Lindsay Zeberlein (Highlands Ranch, Colo./Mountain Vista), Natalie Lugg (Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury), Laurel Brabson (Boonsboro, Md./Boonsboro) and Marit Wangstad (Wayzata, Minn./The Blake School) logged a victory after completing the 200 medley relay in 1:49.23.
The Big Red return to action on Saturday (Jan. 29) when they host Carnegie Mellon University at 1 p.m.
