The Big Red racked up 12 victories and six NCAA provisional or automatic qualifying times en route to a 168-118 win over Grove City College. The victory moves Denison's dual meet record to 5-3 overall.
The Big Red was led by senior Ksenia Golovkina (Newton, Mass./South), Lindsay Zeberlein (Highlands Ranch, Colo./Mountain Vista), Alyssa Swanson (Aurora, Colo./Regis Jesuit) and Tully Bradford (Lakeside Park, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) who were all multiple event winners. Golovkina posted the top time of the afternoon with an 'A' cut time of 1:04.46 in the 100 breaststroke. She also came back to win the 200 breast with a time of 2:21.56.
Swanson turned in victories in the 50 freestyle (24.11) and the 100 free where she logged a provisional qualifying time of 52.59. In the 200 medley relay, Golovkina and Swanson combined with Brenna Broadus (Charlottesville, Va./Western Albemarie) and Maddie Armitage (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) for a winning time of 1:46.16.
In the 200 and 500 freestyles, Bradford took first place in both with times of 1:56.46 and 5:17.18, respectively.
Denison's remaining wins came from Laurel Brabson (Boonsboro, Md./Boonsboro) in the 200 fly where she posted a 'B' cut time of 2:08.13. Hilary Callen (Oswego, N.Y./Oswego) won the 1000 freestyle in 10:18.85 and Dallas Manson (Torrington, Conn./Torrington) edged out teammate Rachel Keselring (West Bloomfield, Mich./West Bloomfield) for first place in the one-meter dive with a score of 233.85.
Denison will return to action on Friday (Jan.28) when they host Malone College.
