In Oxford, the best performance of the night came in the 100 backstroke where five DU swimmers finished in the top-14 in the overall standings.  The group was led by Michael DeSantis (Beverly Hills, Mich./Groves) who placed third in the event with a time of 50.88 seconds.  Following in fourth place was sophomore Quinn Bartlett (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) who touched in 51.23.  In eighth place, Mike Barczak (Beverly Hills, Mich./Brother Rice) turned in a time of 51.86 seconds and senior Kyle Chabot (Washington, Mich./Stoney Creek) locked up ninth place in 52.42.  Coming in 14th with a time of 52.28 was Sean Chabot (Washington, Mich./Stoney Creek).  All five times met the NCAA Division III provisional qualifying standard.

In the 100 breaststroke, Jake Lewing (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) placed third in 57.35.  Also competing in the B-final of the 100 breaststroke was Andrew Krawchyk (Severna Park, Md./East Chapel Hill[N.C.]), Alex Wood (Birmingham, Mich./Seaholm) and Brad Ratliff (Eldersburg, Md./Century) who placed 10th, 15th and 17th, respectively.  Lewing's time of 57.35 was an NCAA 'B' cut time.

The 200 freestyle saw Dan Thurston (Ann Arbor, Mich./Huron) and Al Weik (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Creek) place 13th and 15th with both individuals logging NCAA provisional times of 1:42.48 and 1:48.79, respectively.

In the 400 IM both Thurston and Weik were once again leading the Big Red.  Thurston took eighth with a time of 4:05.74 and Weik took 12th in 4:07.37.

In the 200 free relay, Joe Katich (Toledo, Ohio/St. Francis De Sales), Barczak, Bartlett and Spencer Fronk (Cherry Hills Village, Colo./Cherry Creek) took fifth-place in 1:24.87.  In the final event of the night, the 400 medley relay, the Big Red were dealt a blow when their team was disqualified due to an early start.

In Fredonia, N.Y., Denison's 800 freestyle relay team of Brandon Hullings (Ewing, N.J./The Pennington School), Andrew Quinn (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley), Eric Fischer (Niwot, Colo./Niwot), and Kevin Naud (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) posted a second-place finish and a time of 7:12.19.
