Jim Leffew (Vero Beach, Fla./Vero Beach) scored a season-high 18 points but Hanover College got 22 points from Ryan Nowicki and 19 points from Mike Case and that would be enough to hold off the Big Red, 64-54 from the 2010 Sodexo Classic which is hosted by the University of Chicago.

Leffew played 33 minutes and was 8-of-11 from the field.  He also added three assists and three rebounds.  Hanover took an eight-point lead into halftime and proceeded to heat up in the second half, shooting 65 percent over the final 20 minutes of play.  For the game, Denison shot 42 percent (21-of-50) compared to Hanover who hit at a 49 percent clip.

Mike Garabedian (LaGrange, Ill./Nazareth Academy) followed Leffew with nine points and a team-high seven rebounds.  Dimonde Hale (Columbus, Ohio/Northland) chipped in with eight points.

Denison will return to the court on Sunday (Nov. 21) when they take on the tournament host, Chicago Maroons, at 3 p.m.
