Denison senior Courtney Cobb (Sylvania, Ohio/St. Ursula) posted seven saves with three of those coming in the 20 minutes of overtime as the Big Red played Centre College to a 0-0 tie in Danville, Ky.

Cobb, who entered the match with four shutouts on the season, picked up her fifth in seven tries in 2009.  In the overtime periods she stonewalled two shot attempts by Brittany Garr and one shot on-goal by Cindy Bergstrom.  The tie lowered Cobb's goals against average to 0.69.

The Big Red took 19 shots on the day and were led by first-year Sara Livingston (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prep) who took five shots with two of those on-goal.  Lauren Farrell (Sylvania, Ohio/Toldeo Central Catholic) also added five shots with three on-frame.  Colonels goalkeeper Rosie McAuley had a pair of saves for Centre.

With the tie, both team's record moves to 4-2-1.  Denison will host Transylvania on Wednesday (Sept. 23) at 7 p.m.  That match will be broadcast by the Denison Sports Network.
