Columbus, Ohio- The 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship team was recognized at the 19th annual Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame for their historic season. On June 6, inside the Hilton Columbus/Polaris Hotel, the Big Red women's basketball team was honored with the 2026 Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame induction class as one of two "Season to Remember" awardees. 

Head Coach Maureen "Mo" Hirt will be recognized with the inaugural "Season to Remember" Award after leading the Denison Big Red to the program's first-ever NCAA Division III Women's National Championship on March 21, 2026. 

The Big Red wrapped this spectacular season with an impressive 30-2 record, graduating three seniors, and returning the core starting five for the 2026-2027 season.
