Cleveland, Ohio - Denison University has earned its seventh-consecutive and conference-leading 22nd North Coast Athletic Conference All-Sports Trophy after winning seven outright conference titles in baseball, men's basketball, men's swimming & diving, men's tennis, women's basketball, women's golf, and women's lacrosse. They shared the NCAC title in field hockey and men's lacrosse, and recorded eight additional top-five finishes during the 2025-26 academic year.Â
The Big Red posted three second-place showings in men's soccer, women's swim- ming & diving and women's tennis, while also sharing second in women's soccer. Denison also added a third-place finish in
softball and three fourth place finishes in football, women's outdoor track & field and volleyball to cement its spot atop the standings with a total of 202.5 points.
The All-Sports champion earns the Dennis M. Collins All-Sports Trophy, given annually to the school that performs the best across the NCAC's 23 sports. 11 points are awarded for a first-place finish, ten for a second, nine for a third, and so on. The performances of men's and women's sports are combined, which aligns with the North Coast Athletic Conference's commitment to equity and balance among programs.Â
Denison leads the way with 197 team championships during the NCAC's 42 playing seasons. Ohio Wesleyan is next with 168 titles, followed by Kenyon (146), Wittenberg (129), Allegheny (119), Wooster (86), DePauw (53), Wabash (36), Oberlin (28) Case Western Reserve (9), John Carroll (7) and Hiram and Earlham (2).
