Box Score Gambier, Ohio - In a battle of conference unbeatens, the Denison women's tennis team fell short to Kenyon, 6-1. Peyton Oda was able to pick up the lone win in the No. 1 flight, while recent NCAC Athlete of the Week Maia Nowicki and Rafaella Ramos pushed their matches to three-sets in the loss. Kenyon improves to 12-6 and 4-0 in conference play, while Denison falls to 14-4 and 5-1 in conference play.

Doubles: The Big Red fell in all three doubles matches, as Maia Nowicki and Maddie Larsen, along with Caitlin Van Winkle and Dasha Chistyakova fell in the No. 2 and 3 flights 6-2. Peyton Oda and Rafaella Ramos had the longest match, as the duo fought back down 3-0 to tie things up 3-3, but would eventually fall 6-4 to give the Owls the sweep.

Singles: Oda was the lone win in the six flights for the Big Red, as she defeated Eleni Lazaridou in the No. 1 flight 6-2, 6-4. Lazaridou is ranked the 41st player in the country by ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association). Ramos and Nowicki were the other Big Red to push their opponents to the brink, as Ramos was bested 7-5, 3-6, 1-0, and Nowicki 6-2, 5-7, 1-0. Oda picked up her 13th win of the season, and ninth in the No. 1 flight.
