Northborough, Mass.- No. 8 Denison women's lacrosse senior midfielder Bridget Sheehy has been named this week's Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Defensive Player of the Week. Sheehy led the Big Red's defensive line with five ground balls, four caused turnovers, and three draw controls in Denison's 15-4 victory over the University of Mount Union.

The Big Red travels to Chicago to face the Maroons of UChicago on Saturday, March 7, at 1 p.m. CT.
