Cleveland, Ohio - Indy Workman of the Denison Softball team has been named Player of the Week in the North Coast Athletic Conference after a stellar week in the field and at the plate.

In the field and box for the Denison, Indy Workman would have great success against nationally-ranked Case Western and Wittenberg. Across the four games, Workman would post a .700 average, going 7-10 at bat while also drawing four walks and a hit by pitch. In the two series, Workman had two doubles, three RBI's, and scored four different times. She went 3-for-5 with one run, two RBI, three walks and a double against Case and 4-for-5 with three runs, one RBI, one walk and a double against Wittenberg. In the field for all four games, Workman would have a 1.000 fielding percentage with 12 assists and two putouts across the four games. She would also claim her 100th hit at Denison.

The Big Red remain at home for another doubleheader on Tuesday, March 31st against Marietta College for a 3:30 and 5:30 pm game.
