Lake Nona, Fla. - The Big Red were dominant in all realms this morning down in Lake Nona, Florida, as Denison defeated Coe College 6-0 in their first match of their spring break trip. The duo of Maddie Larsen and Maia Nowicki set the tone early, and trickled down into singles to achieve the clean sweep. Denison improves to 9-2, while Coe falls to 10-3

Doubles: Denison eased by the Kohawks in doubles play, obtaining wins in all three flights. Maddie Larsen and Maia Nowicki got things started with a 6-1 win in the No. 2 flight, while Peyton Oda and Carter Nye followed shortly after with a 6-2 decision in their favor for the first point of the match. Dasha Chistyakova and Caitlin Van Winkle finished the sweep in the No. 1 spot with a 6-2 victory heading into singles play.

Anna Leach clinched the win in the No. 6 spot 6-2, 6-4, and Larsen along with Chistyakova picked up wins to obtain the sweep, 6-0. Oda had her match suspended due to weather, where the match in the No. 1 flight went unfinished.
