Greencastle, Ind. - In their third conference match of the weekend, the Denison Big Red stayed undefeated in NCAC play with a win over DePauw, 6-1. The Big Red came out hot and did not take their foot off the pedal, winning seven of their eight total matches in under an hour. Denison improves to 4-2 overall and 4-0 in conference play, while DePauw falls to 1-5 overall and 0-1 in conference play.

Doubles: 

Denison made quick work of the Tigers, winning all of their matches by four sets or more and all under 17 minutes or less. Peyton Oda and Rafaella Ramos were the quickest, finishing their match in 12 minutes with a score of 6-1. Maia Nowicki and Anna Leach claimed the first point after a solid showing in the No. 3 flight, 6-2. Caitlin Van Winkle and Dasha Chistyakova capped off the sweep with a 6-2 victory heading into singles play.

Singles:

Following the clean sweep in doubles, veteran junior Dasha Chistyakova downed her opponent on court four to give the Big Red a 2-0 lead. Maddie Larsen and Caitlin Van Winkle were quick to follow suit, securing the overall match victory with the third and fourth points. Rafella Ramos and Peyton Oda were able to lock up the final pair of points to start Denison off with a perfect 3-0 record in conference play.
