Gambier, Ohio- The Denison women's swimming and diving team wrapped the regular season at Kenyon with the Owls First Chance and Fast Chance Invitational. Across the weekend, the Big Red earned lifetime bests and B-cuts, in its final tune-up before the NCAA Division III Championships.
First Chance Invitational
To kick off the weekend, Jena Lawlor recorded a season-best 5:03.20 in the 500 Free. Over in the 100 Free, Kacey Collis swam a lifetime best 24.82, and in the 200 Back, Avery Anderson recorded a lifetime best of 2:00.61 (B-cut), moving her up from 24th place nationally to 13th.
Fast Chance Invitational
Emily Harris took advantage of her final check ahead of the NCAAs, recording the top 500 Free time (4:49.89 | B-cut ) in Division III. In the 400 IM, Reilly O'Hara swam a season best 4:30.38, while Jassy Park notched her second B-cut finish of the season in the 100 Fly with a time of 55.79. Anderson recorded a 56.47 time in the 100 Back for her second B-cut time of the season in the event.
