Granville, Ohio- For the second consecutive year and 15th time in program history, the Denison men's swimming and diving team is the 2026 North Coast Athletic Conference Champions. After a dominant four days, the Big Red tallied a total of 1958.5 points, after securing 32 All-NCAC finishes, including 13 titles. Denison's 2026 NCAC Championship performance earned them their 14th Swimmer of the Year- Jack Hill, 12th Swimming Coaching Staff of the Year, and 14th Diving Coaching Staff of the Year.
Swimmer of the Year- Jack Hill had a historic conference championship, breaking two individual NCAC records, and contributing to three of the four relays to break an NCAC record. Hill also tallied seven titles, the most out of all competitors this year.
Men's Swimming Coaching Staff of the Year- For the second consecutive year, the Denison Coaching Staff was named the NCAC's men's coaching staff of the year, after a dominant performance across the four-day conference championships. This year in particular, Denison had at least one swimmer reach the podium in every single event, including a sweep of the 200 IM.
Rounding out the major award winners for Denison was the Diving Coaching Staff of the Year. In his first year as the Big Red's Head Diving Coach, Kai Robinson led Denison to four All-NCAC finishes, including one title by senior diver Nick Fogle in the three-meter dive. In total, the divers secured 185 points for the Big Red across the four days.
On the final day of competition, the Big Red came out strong in the 1650 Free, going one-two. George Goins finished first with a time of 15:24.75 (B-cut), earning Denison its fifth consecutive title in this event. 24 seconds after Goins was fellow sophomore Ben Campbell, who swam the 1650 Free in 15:48.47(B-cut) for second place.
Swimmer of the Year, Hill tacked on another 35 points to Denison's total, after swimming the 100 IM in 48.81 (B-cut) for first place, which was also a pool, NCAC, and Varsity record. In the 200 Back, Luke Swiggett finished second with a time of 1:47.33(B-cut). Also earning B-cuts in the 200 Back were Ben Bevill (1:48.28 | 4th) and Devin Testin (1:48.79 | 5th).
Denison continued to find themselves on the podium as they inched closer to the end of the conference championships, this time in the 100 Free. Nick Hensel took second with a time of 44.13(B-cut); just behind him was Harry Parsons for third place with a time of 44.44 (B-cut). Earning a second-place finish in the 200 Breast was junior Liam Nelson, who swam a 2:00.81( B-cut). The final individual All-NCAC finisher was Max Lough, who took second in the 200 Fly with a time of 1:48.93 (B-cut).
Heading into the final event of the day with a 200-point lead, the team of Hill, Hensel, Blevins-Mohr, and Parsons swam the 400 Free in 2:54.42 (B-cut), breaking not only the NCAC record but also the pool record.
The final standings had Denison in first with 1958.5, Kenyon in second with 1741.5, and newcomers John Carroll in third with 1192.5.
