Denison Sweeps Haverford and Vassar to Advance to Liberty League Championship Final

Canton, N.Y. - After sweeping Haverford and Vassar for a second time this season, the Denison women's squash team will head to the Liberty League Championship final for the second straight season. The Big Red had flawless execution all across the board to propel themselves in the championship match, as they improved to 10-3 on the season and eclipsed double digit wins for the second time in program history.

Denison 9, Haverford 0

The Big Red did not lose a single set in their 9-0 sweep over Haverford, displaying dominance from the start. Charlotte Jones continued her star-studded season in the one slot, while Amelia Keng and Helena Fournaris compiled wins to catapult Denison to a victory.

Just as they did in their round one match, the Big Red dominated, sweeping Vassar 9-0 in dominant fashion. Denison only lost one set the entire match, and Kate Manderlink, Tess Lanza, and Nicole Smith all gave up a combined 20 points across three matches, controlling the backend for humongous victory and a rematch with St. Lawrence in the Liberty League Championship finals.
