No. 21 Denison Sweeps Franklin and Marshall, Dickinson In Dominant Fashion

Carlisle, Pa. - Behind strong play from all spots on the court, the Denison women's squash team picked up big wins against No. 26 Franklin and Marshall, and an upset win over No. 20 Dickinson to capture their seventh win of the season. The Big Red have won seven out of their last eight matches as they gear up for a run in the Liberty League Championships.

The Big Red went to work right away, capturing their eight wins in all under 33 minutes or less. The team only lost a combined five sets, and swept seven of their opponents. It is their fourth win of the season winning eight or more games. Amelia Keng had the grittiest win of the day, fighting back down 2-1 to win her final two sets in a five set thriller.

The Red Devils proved to be a much tighter battle in the afternoon slate, taking down Denison's three, four, and five slots. The backend of the group would dominate, as Lane Harding, Tess Lanza, and Nicole Smith would defeat all their opponents in straight sets, only allowing 15 sets won combined. Charlotte Jones picked up another win in the one hole, and Helena Fournaris secured a four-set win to take a sweep on the day and finish with an upset victory.
