Women’s Squash Drops Hard Fought Battle to Wesleyan to Close Out Weekend

Middletown, Conn. - In the final match of the Wesleyan/ Conn. College Round Robin, the Denison women's squash team lost to host Wesleyan University 6-3. The Big Red finished the weekend with a 2-1 record, with wins over Haverford and Connecticut College. Wesleyan improves to 8-3, while Denison falls to 5-3

Charlotte Jones, Lane Harding, and Tess Lanza were the three Big Red to pick up wins, as Jones swept her opponent in just 17 minutes, while Lanza defeated hers in four sets and Harding in five. All three went undefeated this weekend, going 3-0 to help Denison to a 2-1 record at the Round Robin.
