Denison Women’s Squash Dominates in Win Over Connecticut College

Middletown, Conn. - In the second match of the three-game weekend, Denison continued their dominant play in a win over Connecticut College 7-2, with multiple Big Red wins with key shutouts. Denison improves to 5-2, while Connecticut College falls to 2-8.

Two-time Liberty League Player of the Week Charlotte Jones got to work quickly in the one hole, defeating her opponent in straight sets in 15 minutes to kick off the day for the Big Red. Lane Harding followed suit in the seven slot, defeating her opponent in 14 minutes 3-0. Tess Lanza, Nicole Smith, and Madeleine Ruggie all beat their opponents in straight sets. The Big Red win their fifth match of the season, and are 2-0 in their weekend trip.
