Northborough, Mass.- For the second consecutive year the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) named Denison's Women's Lacrosse head coach Amanda Daniels, Tori Vernau, and Maddie Morrell, as the IWLCA 2025 Division III Great Lakes Region Coaching Staff of the Year.

Since 2016, this is the fifth time the Big Red staff has earned the IWLCA Great Lakes Region Coaching Staff of the year (2016, 2019, 2021, 2024, 2025).

Denison's coaching staff led the Big Red to its third straight North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) tournament title and 10th overall. After winning the NCAC tournament title Denison earned an at-large bid to their 27th NCAA tournament. Denison earned its first
NCAA Sweet Sixteen victory over No. 5 Franklin and Marshall on the Diplomats' home turf, advancing to the Elite Eight for the first time in program history since 2021. The program collected two major NCAC awards and had nine players earn All-Conference honors. Denison finished the season No. 8 overall after sitting around No. 20 all season. Six players were named to the IWLCA All-Region Teams, and four earned All-American awards after the season. The Big Red finished the 2025 season with an overall record of 16-5, and were undefeated in conference play with a 6-0 NCAC record.

In her 12 years and 11 full seasons (the 2020 season was truncated due to COVID-19) as Denison's head coach, Daniels has led the Big Red to 11-consecutive NCAA Division III Tournament appearances, seven NCAC championships, nine NCAC Tournament titles and a Final Four Appearance in 2021. Daniels has compiled an overall record of 153-63 (.708 pct.) while boasting a 72-6 (.923 pct.) in conference play.
