Granville,Ohio — Denison seniors Annabelle Calderon and Sydney Silverstein capped off their careers with two final honors to close out their time at Denison. Calderon was named to the 2025 NFCA Division III All-America First Team and repeated as the Diamond Sports/NFCA Catcher of the Year, while Silverstein earned her first career NFCA All-Region VII honor after a dominant season in the circle.

Calderon's All-America honors capped a standout senior season in which she was also named the 2025 NCAC Player of the Year and earned first-team recognition on the NFCA All-Region VII team. She hit .458 over 39 games, collecting 55 hits in 120 at-bats, including 14 home runs, 20 doubles, and a triple. She drove in 39 runs, drew 14 walks, and struck out just 13 times. Her production at the plate also led to new program records for career total bases and career doubles.Defensively, Calderon remained a steady presence behind the plate. She threw out 29 base runners and posted a .983 fielding percentage across 179 total chances, playing a key role in Denison's success this season. The 2025 honors marked a repeat performance for Calderon, who also earned Diamond Sports/NFCA Catcher of the Year and NFCA First Team All-America recognition in 2024.

Joining Calderon on the All-Region list is Sydney Silverstein, who earned third-time selection to the NFCA All-Region VII honors after a dominant senior season in the circle. She posted a 17-6 record with a 1.59 ERA, striking out 118 batters across 158.2 innings while holding opponents to a .212 batting average. Silverstein tied both Denison's and the NCAC's single-season shutout record with eight after defeating Wooster. 

Together, Calderon and Silverstein helped power Denison to a 26-13 record this past season and a co-conference regular season title.
