Big Red Showcase Explosive Offense and Lockdown Defense in Dominant Sweep of Wooster

Granville, Ohio- The No. 5 Denison Big Red hosted the Fighting Scots of Wooster in a Friday clash for first place in the North Coast Athletic Conference. The Big Red presents with a 23-5 record on the season. While the Wooster season record might not be up to par with the Big Red(18-11), the perfect conference record places them at No. 1 in the NCAC standings. After a dominant game one victory of 17-0, the Big Red were able to tie the Scots for first in the conference. With the field lights shining over Big Red Field, Denison was able to seal a 7-1 victory in game two to take control of the one-seed in the NCAC. The Big Red move to 25-5 on the season and 9-1 in the conference.

Up Next: Denison will travel to Marietta on Tuesday for the season "rubber match" between the schools.
