Box Score Granville, OH - The No. 29 Denison Women's tennis team hosted Wittenberg to kick off their three-match weekend gauntlet. The Big Red, currently 9-6, aimed to snap a three-match losing streak. This battle marked the 20th all-time matchup against the Tigers. Denison currently leads the all-time series 19-0. With the 7-0 victory, Denison gets back into the win column and notches their second NCAC win of the season.
Up Next: Denison will host the Battling Bishops of Ohio Wesleyan tomorrow morning, followed by a OAC versus NCAC crossover against the Comets from Capital.

The Big Red made quick work of the Tigers to collect their second conference victory. The pairs of Peyton Oda and Maia Nowicki, Caroline Lopez and Anna Leach, and Caroline Kittle and Elizabeth Hoo swept Wittenberg in doubles by a combined score of 18-0. The senior duo of Kittle and Hoo earned their 6-0 victory in just eight minutes.
The Big Red followed suit in singles, winning all matches in straight sets. The lineup saw new faces in new places, but the changes were no problem for the Big Red. Sophomore Dasha Chistyakova won her first match in the "1" position. Senior Caroline Kittle saw her first action in the "2" slot, winning in straight 6-0 sets. Junior Anna Leach collected her first victory in the "3" hole.Â
