Greencastle, Ind.- The No. 23 Denison women's tennis team kicked off North Coast Athletic Conference play with a trip to Greencastle to take on the Tigers of DePauw University. The Big Red extended their match win streak to three in the season and extended their win streak against DePauw to eight in a row, spanning back to 2018. With the 7-0 victory, the series sits at 13-7 all time in favor of the Big Red.

In doubles play, Denison hit the ground running with wins from the pairs of Peyton Oda and Maia Nowicki, Caitlin VanWinkle and Charlotte Johns, and Caroline Kittle and Dasha Chistyakova.

In singles, the Big Red started with two set victories from Oda, VanWinkle, Johns, Chistyakova, and Kittle. Nowicki dropped the first set 6-0 but rallied back, rattling off 6-1 and 6-4 victories, to secure the 7-0 victory for Denison.

Up Next: Denison will travel down to Lake Nona, Florida on Monday, March 17, to take on teams from all over the country at the UTSA National Campus. The Big Red will play five matches over the course of the week.
