Granville, Ohio- The North Coast Athletic Conference released the All-NCAC teams for women's basketball last week, and two members of the Denison women's basketball team were named, highlighted by sophomore Abby Cooch earning a first-team nod.

Abby Cooch, a sophomore from Clifton, Virginia, earned her second consecutive first-team All-Conference nod. Cooch, the reigning NCAC Newcomer of the Year, led the team in points per game, rebounds per game, and assists per game. Cooch was the conference leader in total minutes played this season (939), and third in the conference in assists per game (4.9). She was also named NCAC Athlete of the Week, after she put up 22 points in the Big Red's 73-70 win over Olivet. 

Senior Abigail Westmeyer from Ottawa Hills, Ohio, rounds out the All-NCAC awards for the Big Red. Westmeyer was second on the team in points per game, rebounds per game, and steals per game. Westmeyer capped off a stellar career in the red and white with a third-team All-NCAC nod. Additionally, Westmeyer was named MVP of Denison's inaugural Sara Lee Classic Tournament.
