GRANVILLE, Ohio (Feb. 19)– In their final regular season game inside Livingston Gymnasium, Denison University's women's basketball team delivered a steady and balanced performance to claim a 59-52 win over Wittenberg University.
The Big Red (15-9, 8-5 NCAC) maintained consistency across all four quarters, never allowing the Tigers (15-9, 7-6 NCAC) to build momentum. Both teams ended the first period tied at 16, but Denison edged ahead in the second quarter, outscoring Wittenberg 15-8 to take a 31-24 halftime lead.
Wittenberg attempted a third-quarter push, closing the gap to 44-39 heading into the final 10 minutes, but Denison's defensive pressure and key plays down the stretch secured the win.

Denison will close out the regular season on the road against OWU, looking to carry its momentum into the NCAC tournament.
