Granville, Ohio- The Denison women's basketball team fell to Oberlin in a back-and-forth North Coast Athletic Conference battle, 64-57. The Big Red dropped to 13-9 for the season and 6-5 in conference play, while the Yeowomen improved to 12-10 and 6-5 in NCAC play.
In the first half of play, the two teams traded baskets, shooting just one percentage point off each other and remaining tied heading into the second half. In the second half, Oberlin strung a series of baskets late in the third quarter and began pulling away from Denison. Despite only shooting 33% from the field, second-chance opportunities and some costly turnovers helped the Yeowomen seal the win in the final minutes of regulation.

Abigail Westmeyer dished out five assists and collected six rebounds of her own.
Oberlin's Camille Zinaich and Angela Kumler duo put on a shooting clinic, scoring 21 and 20 points, respectively. Zinaich led the Yeowomen in rebounds (9) and assists (3), while Kumler tallied four blocks and three assists.
