Granville, OH: The Denison men's swimming team tallied a total of 2816 points across the three-day Denison Invitational to defeat Emory. The Eagles finished the meet with 2473 points.
Top performances:
George Goins picked up the first Big Red first-place finish of the night after swimming the 1650 free in 15:20.72. Teammate Jack Hill joined Goins as the only other individual to place first on day three of the invite, after swimming the 100 free in 43.62. Rounding out the first-place finishes was the 400 Free relay team. Hill, Harry Parsons, Sam Hibbert, and Nick Hensel not only finished first but also swam an impressive 2:54.96, recording a new varsity record for Denison.
