OLIVET, Mich. — Denison women's basketball moved to 7–0 with a dominant 85–51 win at Olivet on Tuesday night, controlling the game from start to finish inside the Cutler Event Center.

First Quarter: Denison came out firing, putting up 26 points in the opening frame behind hot shooting from Violet Mitchell and Ada Taute. The Big Red hit their stride midway through the quarter and continued to widen the gap as the period progressed. To close it out, Taute and Jess Zittel each knocked down a three, giving Denison a 26–16 lead after one.

Second Quarter: Defense set the tone in the second, as Denison held Olivet to just nine points. Even during a slower shooting stretch, the Big Red stayed in command, sparked by a Mitchell three to open the quarter and push the lead to double digits. In a quiet period overall, Denison added 11 points to carry their momentum into halftime.

Third Quarter: The Big Red blew the game open in the third, dominating the frame 22–8. Denison opened the half on a 14–0 run, fueled by paint finishes from Taute, Abby Cooch, and Mitchell. Isabelle McFadden and Molly Dorighi each knocked down a pair of free throws, and Brooke Toigo capped the surge with back-to-back layups before Olivet finally scored with four minutes remaining. Denison then put together another 9–0 burst, sparked by a Dorighi and-one, stretching the lead to 26. The Big Red closed the quarter firmly in control, up 59–33.

Fourth Quarter: Denison finished in Big Red fashion, pouring in 26 more points in the fourth. Mitchell opened the quarter with a steal and fast-break layup, followed moments later by a Cooch steal and score. The duo then connected again as Cooch found Mitchell for a three. Maeve Perry made her return with a strong finish in the paint, pushing the lead to 30. Olivet attempted to rally, but the Big Red answered every push, highlighted by a Maeve Gaffney three as Denison sealed the 85–51 victory.
