The Big Red improved to 11-6 overall and 4-2 in North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) play, while the Tigers fell to 11-6 overall and 3-3 in conference action.
Abby Cooch delivered a standout performance, notching a double-double with a game-high 21 points, 10 rebounds, and a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line. Cooch's dominance on both ends of the floor, including two blocks and two steals, helped anchor Denison throughout the contest.

The Big Red jumped out to a 21-13 lead after the first quarter, fueled by a hot shooting start at 56.3% from the field. Wittenberg fought back to cut the deficit to one at halftime, but Denison's balanced attack and composure down the stretch proved decisive. A strong fourth quarter, where the Big Red shot 66.7% and went a perfect 10-for-10 at the free-throw line, sealed the victory.
Denison also capitalized on their opportunities, converting 90.9% (20-of-22) of their free throws compared to Wittenberg's 54.5% (6-of-11).
The Big Red will look to carry their momentum into another NCAC contest when they host no. 10 Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Livingston Gymnasium.
