PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (March 9, 2024) – The Denison University men's and women's squash teams wrapped up their 2023-24 seasons on Saturday during the second day of the College Squash Association National Collegiate Individual & Doubles Championships at the University of Pennsylvania.

In the mixed doubles tournament, Kate Manderlink and Tarun Mammen lost two of their sets by two points each but ultimately fell 3-0 (12-10, 11-3, 11-9) against Ellyn Xu and Harry Charlton (Tufts) in the second round.

In the women's doubles tournament, Virginia Lawrence and Esme Adelman fell 3-0 (11-8, 11-2, 11-4) in the first round to Abby Holding and Kieran Suntha (Middlebury).

In men's singles, Hernandez elected not to play in his semifinal match against Maxwell Velazquez (Virginia) in the Molly Cup: B Division South consolation bracket. Velazquez then went on to win the consolation bracket with a 3-1 (9-11, 11-5, 11-6, 12-10) win over Luis Moncada (Rochester).

This ends the 2023-24 season for the Denison University men's and women's squash teams.
