PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Dec. 8) – The Denison University squash teams finished their weekend trip with victories over the Brown University club teams in competition on Sunday. Both teams won by respective scores of 7-2 over Brown. 
 
Men's Recap (Denison 7, Brown Club 2)
 
Juan Felipe Hernandez secured a five-game victory at the top singles spot. Hernandez won by a 15-13 margin in the deciding fifth game. 
 
Tarun Mammen and Charlie Fenwick won in three games at the number two and three spots, respectively. 
 
The bottom half of the Big Red's lineup remained strong, as Denison won the matches at number six, number seven, number eight and number nine positions.
 
Jackson Bragman picked up a win in five at number six. Bragman used an 11-5 win in the fifth game to take his match. 
 
Ross Falcon, Rayan Dar and Gus Nelson picked up wins at the final three spots. Dar recorded a sweep at the eighth spot to finish off a perfect 3-0 weekend. 
 
Women's Recap (Denison 7, Brown Club 2)
 
Charlotte Jones picked up a four-game win at the top spot. The first year collegiate secured the win by taking the third by a 11-3 and the fourth by an 11-6 margin to win in four.
 
Amelia Keng, competing at the third spot, won in four games as well. After splitting the first two games (11-9, 10-12), Keng won by margins of 13-11 and 11-5 to claim victory. 
 
Denison was dominant in the four through eight positions.

Antoinette Ramsey, Tess Lanza, Charlotte Sigg, Virginia Lawrence and Maddie Ruggie all won in three games.
 
Markley Peters also earned a victory in an exhibition match at the 10 spot. Peters won by scores of 11-3, 11-6, 11-9. 
 
Up Next: Denison will travel to San Diego for their Winter Training trip. The Big Red will face Tufts University on Jan. 10.
