"The program has come a long way over the last five years," head coach
Peter Grandbois commented. "This group of young athletes has been building momentum all season. They just keep getting better and better. I think this weekend marks a new era for Denison Fencing. They know now they can beat anyone. They believe it. They see it, and they're doing it. The loss to Boston College was a tough way to start the weekend, but they didn't let it stop them. They regrouped and came back even stronger. It's a pleasure for Coach Florencia and I to watch the way they support each other and push each other. There's no stopping them. I see great things from this team as they continue to push the limits of what they can achieve."
