GRANVILLE, Ohio—No. 14 Denison and Division II Walsh University were locked in a 6-5 game with nine minutes left in the second quarter but the Big Red scored 13 unanswered goals over the next 30 minutes resulting in a convincing 25-6 win over the visiting Cavaliers.

• Camden Bowdy, who was named to the USILA Division III Team of the Week prior to the game, scored a team-high five goals with one assist.
• Sam Asman added four goals and one assist while rookie Clyde Bresnahan posted his second career hat-trick.
• Denison goalie TJ Spahn finished with six saves in 55 minutes between the pipes. He improves to 4-0 with the win.
• The Big Red won 25-of-34 face-off's led by Steven Villacorta who was 16-for-21 with eight ground balls.
• Walsh took a 5-4 lead into the second quarter after Sully Dowling's second goal of the period. The two teams went back and forth early in the second until Denison scored 19 of the game's final 20 goals.
• Denison held a 73-20 advantage in shots and finished with 44 ground balls to Walsh's 20.
• This marked the first-ever meeting between Denison and Walsh in lacrosse.

DU returns to NCAC West division play next Tuesday, April 20 when they travel to DePauw.
