GENEVA, N.Y. (November 8, 2021) – The No. 28 Denison University women's squash team began its 2021-22 season on Saturday, November 6, with a 5-2 win against No. 32 Chatham University, followed by a 7-2 loss against No. 21 William Smith College.

In the 4-2 win over Chatham, Denison won each of the three, four, five and six seeds as Lindsey Cruikshank won 3-0 in the third spot, Jaz'mene Little won 3-0 in the four spot, Chloe Sigg won 3-0 in the five spot and Charlotte Sigg won 3-0 in the six spot.

Against William Smith, Denison lost 3-0 in each of the top seven spots of the lineup. In the No. 8 spot, Natalie Stanchina was a 3-0 winner.

The Big Red will be back in action next weekend when they head to the United States Naval Academy. Denison will take on Boston University at 9 a.m. and Johns Hopkins University at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, followed by a match at 12 p.m. on Sunday, November 14, against Georgetown University.
