ANNAPOLIS, Md. (November 15, 2021) – The No. 28 Denison University women's squash team played its final two matches of the Fall season at the Navy Round Robin, falling 5-4 in a close contest against No. 26 Haverford College on Saturday, November 13, before dropping a 7-2 decision against No. 27 Georgetown University on Sunday, November 14.

Against Haverford, Denison won each of the top two seeds on victories by Kaylee Hunt (3-0) in the top spot and Antoinette Ramsey (3-1) in the two seed while four of the remaining seven seeds went to five sets. Charlotte Sigg pulled out a 3-2 victory at the five seed while Jaz'mene Little (4 seed), Natalie Stanchina (7 seed) and Maddie Kate Kaufman (8 seed) each forced a fifth set. Denison's other win against Haverford was a 3-0 victory for Raqiyah Morrow in the nine spot in her season debut.

Against Georgetown, Hunt won 3-1 at the one seed and Ramsey won 3-2 at the two seed as both ladies improved to 2-0 on the weekend. The closest match of the other seven was a 3-2 loss for Sigg at the five seed.

When Denison returns to action next Spring, its season will continue with four matches at the Pioneer Valley invitational in Massachusetts on Saturday, January 15, and Sunday, January 16.
