Denison suffered a 3-0 (25-15, 25-13, 25-17) defeat at the hands of Bluffton University on Thursday night in Bluffton, Ohio. 

The Beavers posted a .312 team attack percentage as they were paced by Jenny Brown and Mackenzie McFarlin who each turned in 13 kill performances.  For Denison, Rachele Lock was the team leader with seven kills and seven digs.  Elena Lein finished with six kills while hitting at a .333 clip.  She also posted three blocks.  Sophomore setter Kaileigh Poe recorded 20 assists.

Denison falls to 6-5 on the year while Bluffton improves to 8-6.  The Big Red will look to get back into the win column on Saturday when they host Kenyon College at 1 p.m. from Livingston Gym.  This contest will be one of four home athletic events on Sept. 26 as a part of Big Red Weekend.
