Box Score 2 A walk-off single by Wittenberg's Sam Bausch in the bottom of the seventh inning would send the Tigers to a doubleheader sweep of the Denison Big Red on Saturday in Springfield. Wittenberg took game one 5-0 and rallied for a 2-1 victory in game two.
In game two, Denison broke a scoreless tie in the top of the sixth inning when Kerry Hager singled to the gap in right-center, scoring Mckinley Vazquez who led off the inning by reaching on an error by the Tigers' first baseman. In the bottom of the seventh, Wittenberg's Tori Simek would reach base after an error on Ryan Lee. Lindsey Blair would follow with a double to center, scoring Hughes from second base, tying the game at 1-1. The game-winner would come in the next at-bat as Bausch singled on a 2-2 offering from Erin Laswell, scoring Blair with the go-ahead run.
